The Ennis native most recently missed out on a US Women’s Open silver medal due to illness, but will be looking to make an athletic comeback in her hometown this coming August.
It will be the second time that Dromoland hosts the KPMG Women’s Irish Open and other female golfers including German star Olivia Cowan will be teeing off on the luxurious castle grounds, as well as Irish star Leona Maguire.
The competition saw over 25,000 spectators last year, with athletes competing for a €400,000 prize fund.
