Council proposes new traffic measures in East Clare town

CLARE County Council have proposed to install traffic calming measures on the L3084 New Street in Killaloe at the eastern side of the junction with the L30842, and the existing pedestrian crossing 107 meters southeast of the junction. 

The proposed measures will see the construction of a raised table with uncontrolled pedestrian crossing on the eastern side of the junction. Footpath buildout, installation of tactile paving, all associated signs and road markings.

A raised table at the existing controlled pedestrian crossing 107 meters southeast of the junction will also be added.

Plans and particulars of the development can be viewed online here and will be available until Monday July 24 2023. 

Submissions and observations in relation to the proposals may be made by email to roads@clarecoco.ie or in writing to Administrative Officer, Transportation Section, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare before 4:00 p.m. on July 24.
