New traffic measures proposed for Clare town

Clare County Council have proposed to install traffic calming measures on the eastern end of the L4550 Summerhill, at the junction with Market Place in Ennis.

The measures will see the construction of a raised table with uncontrolled pedestrian crossing, footpath buildout, installation of tactile paving and all associated signs and road markings.

Plans and particulars of the development will be available to view here until Monday July 24 2023.

Submissions and observations in relation to the proposals may be made by email to roads@clarecoco.ie or in writing to Administrative Officer, Transportation Section, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare before 4:00 p.m. on July 24.
