There was disappointment for the Clare minor hurlers at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles on Saturday as they lost to Waterford in the All-Ireland final.

On what was a miserable evening, the Deise, who defeated Clare by six points in Dungarvan in May, were impressive throughout and led from beginning to end.
It was Waterford's fourth-ever All-Ireland title and the first since 2013. Clare were last champions in 2023.
