Details of ticket sales for Munster hurling and football championships confirmed

Clare will take on the All-Ireland champions, Limerick on April 21 in Cusack Park, Ennis. There will be no public of tickets due to the demand| PICTURE: Sportsfile

Munster GAA have issued an update on the ticket sales for both the province's senior hurling and football championship  fixtures which begin next month.

The Clare hurlers will begin their campaign at Cusack Park in Ennis on April 21 when they the host the All-Ireland champions, Limerick.

Because of the expected interest in the fixture, there will be no public sale of tickets in advance.

Tickets for this fixture and also the games in Walsh Park (Waterford v Cork and Waterford v Tipperary) will be distributed via the participating county boards and will not be put on public sale.

Tickets for the remaining seven out of ten Round Robin games in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship will go on sale on Wednesday, March 27 at 10am via gaa.ie/tickets and via participating Centra and Supervalu outlets.

Sunday, April 21 @ 2pm v Limerick (Cusack Park, Ennis)

Sunday, April 28 @ 2pm v Cork (Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh)

Sunday, May 19 @ 2pm v Waterford (Cusack Park, Ennis)

Sunday, May 26 @ 4pm v Tipperary (FBD Semple, Stadium Thurles) 

In the Munster Football Championship, Clare will play either Tipperary or Waterford in the semi-final at 7pm on Saturday, April 20. The venue will be confirmed once the fixture is confirmed.

Tickets for the Munster Senior Football Championship quarter-finals scheduled for Sunday April 7 (Waterford v Tipperary and Cork v Limerick are now on sale via the Munster GAA website
