PICTURES: Clare and Limerick hurling fans out in force for opening fixture of the season

Clare opened their 2024 season with a five point defeat to the All-Ireland champions Limerick in their Munster Hurling League group fixture played at Clarecastle GAA astroturf pitch.

The final score, before a 1,500-sellout crowd, was 2:21 to 1:19.

Clare's next fixture is against Cork at Páirc Uí Rinn at 2pm on Sunday, January 14.
