A man's body has been discovered near a shoreline in Clare, An Garda Síochána have confirmed.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident where the body of a male was found in Fanore, Co Clare on Tuesday afternoon, August 5.

The man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to hospital and a post-mortem examination has been arranged.
