Gardai in Ennis are seeking to end 2025 on a high by locating the owner of a quantity of cash which was handed into the garda station.
The money, which was found at Tulla Road in the town, was discovered by a member of the public on Monday evening who then brought it to the garda station.
"A sum of money has just been handed into Ennis garda station, the money is in a white envelope and was found on Tulla Road in Ennis," read a post on social media.

In their appeal, gardai have not said how much cash is in the envelope. "If you are the owner please make contact with us on 065 684 8100," read the post.
