Sixmilebridge Gardaí investigate 'very opportunistic' theft of trailer

Gardaí in Sixmilebridge are investigating the theft of a trailer which was stolen from the roadside.

Taking place on Tuesday, August 12 at 9:30pm, the 7X4 mesh trailer was taken from Clonbrick. Gardaí called the theft "very opportunistic" as the owner had just parked up the vehicle to enter a nearby field.

It was then stolen in quite a short amount of time. 

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in the county commented on this crime, saying, "If you saw this trailer or are offered it for sale, please contact Sixmilebridge Gardaí on 061 369133."
