Ennis gardaí seek witnesses after bins are set on fire by popular shopping centre

The owner discovered the damage on Monday morning

Gardaí in Ennis are investigating criminal damage to a number of wheelie bins at the Roslevan Shopping Centre.

Taking place on Monday morning, July 28, gardaí responded to a call and discovered a number of wheelie bins had been damaged by fire.

The bins were placed outside by the injured party at the rear of their premises in Roslevan Shopping Centre on Saturday evening at 6:30pm. The owner then discovered the damage on Monday morning.

The incident is believed to have occurred at approximately 7am. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or may have observed a person or a group in the Roslevan Shopping Centre area between Saturday evening at 6:30pm and Monday morning at 7am.
