The car was recovered a short distance away from the property
Clare Gardaí are making an appeal for information following an incident which took place in Sixmilebridge on Friday, May 30.
During this disturbance, a suspect entered a house through an unlocked front door and subsequently left the property with car keys. The suspect then went on to steal the vehicle that was parked in the driveway. This occurred in the Sycamore Close housing estate.
Gardaí in Sixmilebridge have confirmed that they are following a definite line of enquiry in regards to this incident after recovering the vehicle a short distance away from the property.

However, they are appealing for witnesses that may have observed anyone in the Sycamore Close area on Thursday night (May 29) into Friday morning (May 30).
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in Clare said, "If you observed anyone acting suspicious, please contact Sixmilebridge Garda Station on 061 369 133 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."
