There is excitement in Tulla as the town will host its first-ever Christmas fair this weekend.
The family-friendly event will take place at Courthouse from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, December 8.
Speaking to Alan Morrissey on Clare FM, organiser Fran Torpey said: "Tulla is a lovely community and I love organising things and I said Tulla might like a Christmas fair so here it goes sure I'll have a bat at it."

Fran explained that the Christmas fair, though heavily crafts based is so much more than a crafts fair.
"I have jewellery, I have handmade bags, candles, soaps, pottery, crochet, knitwear, beautiful Christmas cakes from the Holly Tree, paintings, Christmas wreaths and plants and handmade chocolates and slippers," she said.
On the day, Fran will also be selling men's tweed waistcoats and tweed caps. "I have a 'this and that' upstairs which means that I have fabric for sale and I have knitting wools and things like that so, it's not just all crafts, it's a selection of things," she explained.
