Analog Devices donates €130,000 to charities and voluntary groups, positively impacting thousands across Clare and Munster

Christmas windfall for Clare charities, schools and clubs from Analog Devices

Christmas has come early for several Clare charities, schools and sporting clubs as they received much needed funds through the Analog Devices Community Awards programme.

Analog Devices (ADI) has donated €130,000 to 39 educational, charitable, and cultural organisations through its Annual Community Awards and Charitable Donations Programme, with Clare organisations receiving a total of €16,000.

This significant contribution is set to benefit thousands of individuals and communities across Munster and Dublin, reinforcing ADI's commitment to improving people’s lives.

Spanning six counties – Limerick, Cork, Clare, Tipperary, Kerry, and Dublin – the donations were distributed in Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories to support local charities, community organisations, schools, and sporting clubs.

As a long-standing partner of ADI, Milford Care Centre received the Platinum donation of €20,000, enabling the centre to continue its vital palliative care services.

Gold donations of €10,000 each were allocated to CARI (Children at Risk in Ireland), ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services, and Down Syndrome Ireland – Field of Dreams, supporting their critical work in child protection, domestic abuse support, and disability services.

The Clare Crusaders were one recipient of a Silver award of €4,000 thanks to a nomination from an Analog Devices employee - Srikanth Kolagatla.

Clare Crusaders provide free therapy and specialist treatment to over 450 children with special needs in County Clare.

The Clinic receives no state funding and the funds from Analog Devices will be used to provide for the current level of support.

Meanwhile, 30 Bronze awards of €2,000 each were distributed among schools, sporting clubs, and social enterprises, enabling them to enhance their activities and community outreach, including An Cat Dubh Sanctuary, Bridgetown National School, Kilmaley Daycare Centre, Parteen Meelick GAA & Camogie Club, Parteen National School and Sixmilebridge GAA.

For Parteen National School, the funds would go towards updates to the outdoor play area and support the installation of solar panels.

For Sixmilebridge GAA, the money will go towards lighting up the walkway around the pitch.

Employees from ADI’s Limerick, Cork, and Dublin sites played a key role in the process by nominating organisations close to their hearts. A total of 235 nominations were received, reflecting the strong community spirit within the company.

Speaking at the special presentation ceremony, Meabh Shine, Senior Director, Multi Market Power at Analog Devices , said:“Our Annual Community Awards Programme reflects our core values of giving back to the communities where we live and work and driving positive change.

"We are proud to support these incredible organisations that are making a real difference in people’s lives.”

“It’s inspiring to see the direct impact of these donations, from supporting local schools and sports clubs to empowering charities that provide vital services,Joe Barry, Vice President of Marketing, Systems & Technology in the Communications & Cloud Business Unit at ADI, added.

"This programme allows us to celebrate and support the incredible work happening in our communities.”
