Young Taylor Swift fans give Garda inspector friendship bracelet at Dublin Eras concert

A Garda inspector was "over the moon" to receive a friendship bracelet from Taylor Swift fans heading to the US superstar's concert on Saturday (June 29). 

According to An Garda Síochána, fans Molly Manley and Natalie Pierce gave Inspector Declan Egan a bracelet - the sharing of which is a popular past time among "Swifties" - ahead of the Saturday night concert at Aviva Stadium. 

Dublin City received hundreds of thousands of extra visitors over the weekend due to a number of concerts, sporting events, shows and festivals taking place, with Garda presence at a high. 

Taylor Swift performed at the Aviva Stadium on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of the ever-popular Eras Tour to the delight of her many Irish fans
