A new documentary recounting the story of the life and career of the late Sinéad O'Connor will debut on Irish television this week.
One of the most controversial and influential figures in pop music, O’Connor’s raw, powerful voice and outspoken personality made her a star, but her willingness to challenge the status quo also made her a target of criticism.
‘Sinéad O'Connor: Faith & Courage’ follows the career of the celebrated Irish musician and will air at 9pm on Wednesday night on Virgin Media One.
The documentary tells the story of O'Connor's life and career, from her humble beginnings in Ireland to her remarkable rise to fame in the early 1990s.
Featuring collaborators and friends of the late star, it explores her struggles with mental health, her activism, and how her contributions to music and culture have been reassessed in the aftermath of her tragic death back in July of this year.
Catch the documentary at 9pm on Virgin Media One on Wednesday, November 15.
