OVER 2,500 cyclists took on the Ring of Clare Cycle, in partnership with car manufacturer ŠKODA, for 120km and 160km routes which started in Ennis.
The event that took place on Saturday, July 22 forms part of the international ŠKODA Celtic Cycle Series.
It saw thousands of cyclists cruise along the Wild Atlantic Way, on to the Loop Head peninsula and return by the Shannon Estuary waters.
Doonbeg Community Hall hosted feed stations for the athletes, while Down Syndrome Limerick volunteers helped around Kilkee and Kilrush while selling hats and neck buffs for charity.
