Independent artist LOR-KEY will host an intimate listening party for his debut EP, ‘I AM THE KEY’ on Thursday, June 12, at The Cheese Press in Ennistymon.
The event takes place just one day before the EP’s official release, offering an exclusive first listen of the seven-track project that blends reggae, raggaeton and afrobeats with a message of self-discovery, healing and unity.
Known by his stage name LOR-KEY, Lorcan O’Garvey is a 24-year-old Irish-French artist who fuses many different musical elements with African spirituality and universal storytelling.

Having recently performed with his band LOR-KEY & The Lockpickers at Electric Picnic, he is now preparing for a full summer of live shows and festival appearances.
‘I AM THE KEY’ is a deeply personal body of work that explores Lorcan’s journey from inner questioning to empowerment. From the introspective title track ‘I AM THE KEY’ to the festival-ready anthem ‘ELEPHANT’, each song unlocks a different chapter of the artist’s evolution.
Members of the press, local music supporters and media representatives are warmly invited to attend the listening party on June 12 at 6:30pm. LOR-KEY will perform a short acoustic set, share stories behind the EP, and connect with the local music community.
