A status yellow wind and rain warning has been issued for Clare, from 5am on Sunday
Motorists in County Clare are being urged to exercise caution as Met Éireann has issued wind and rain warnings for this Sunday.
A number of separate status orange and status yellow warnings have been issued for 13 counties across the country by the forecaster which says some of the rainfall will be 'intense' at times.
For Clare, the wind and rain warnings will come into effect at 5am on Sunday and will remain valid until 8pm.

According to the warning, which applies to all of Munster, heavy rain will be accompanied by strong and gusty winds.
Possible Impacts include localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions / travel delays and some fallen branches or trees.
While local authority crews have been put on standby along with other agencies, caution is being urged.
Motorists are being urged not to make unnecessary journeys and members of the public are being asked to stay away from coastal areas.
