Glenroe actor, Emmet Bergin, dies

Emmet Bergin, who was best known for his role in the RTE series Glenroe, has died.

Originally from Dublin, Emmet played Dick Moran in the popular RTE series. The actor died on Friday, March 15.

He was also known for other roles, such as Ulfus in the film Excalibur, as well as his work in radio advertisements for the Irish Times.

Emmet Bergin is survived by his wife Sarah and his children, Gavan and Tara.

A service will celebrate his life on Tuesday, March 26 at Victorian Chapel, in Harold’s Cross, Dublin
