Multiple criminal damage reports spark investigations in Clare

THERE have been a number of criminal damage incidents in Clare in recent times.

* Corofin

Corofin Gardaí are investigating damage to Kilnaboy Church that occurred between Tuesday, September 26 and Wednesday 27. Two windows were damaged. A person has been questioned in respect of this incident and a file is currently being prepared by gardaí.

*Shannon

Gardaí in Shannon are investigating two incidents of criminal damage, the first incident to a vehicle in the Bru Na Sionna estate. A Silver Toyota Yaris was damaged between midnight on Friday, September 29 and 10am Saturday morning.

Gardai investigating after car stolen from outside Clare home

The second incident occurred in the Rossbracken estate on Sunday morning, October 1 between 4am and 4.30am. The owner of the house was at home when a rock was thrown through the front window of her house.

* Ennis

Ennis Gardaí are investigating significant damage to a vehicle that was parked overnight on Marian Avenue on Friday night, September 29. The damaged vehicle was a red Nissan Pixo and was parked on Friday at 10pm. The owner discovered the damage on Saturday evening, September 30.
