GARDAI are investigating after a car was stolen from outside a home in a Clare village close to the Limerick border.
A thief targeted a house at Lackyle, Ardnacrusha on Friday, September 29 at 2.50am.
The thief forced the front door of the property and once inside they took a set of car keys.
They then used the key to steal the family car which was a black Mercedes Benz C180 with a Limerick registration.
The gardai at Ardnacrusha Garda Station are investigating. They can be contacted at 061 345136.
Garda John Finnerty from Henry Street garda station said: "We would advise all property owners and renters not to leave car keys where they are visible to possible intruders. When retiring for the night bring the car keys upstairs and store then securely."
