The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Tubber, Co Clare on Sunday, June 15.
The two-vehicle collision, which involved a car and a motorbike, occurred at approximately 12:30pm at Killourney on the R460 between Tubber and Gort.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was airlifted to University Hospital Galway for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was uninjured and the road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 12pm and 12:40pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
