The winning ticket, which is worth €500k, was bought in Sixmilebridge on Tuesday
A Clare EuroMillions player is celebrating after they won a life-changing €500,000 prize in Tuesday's draw.
The player, who bought their ticket from Crowe’s Gala in Sixmilebridge, was one of two players in Ireland who matched all five numbers drawn in the EuroMillions Plus game.
The second player bought their ticket in Bray, County Wicklow and according to the National Lottery, there have now been eight EuroMillions Plus winners in Ireland so far in 2025.
Darragh O’Dwyer spokesperson of the National Lottery said: “Since the start of 2025 the National Lottery has produced eight EuroMillions Plus top prize winners and four Lotto Jackpot winners. To have so many winners in such a short space of time is incredible and we are delighted for our two latest winners who now join the exclusive club of becoming a National Lottery top prize winner.”

The National Lottery is urging all players in the Clare and Wicklow areas to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.
For the record, the winning numbers in Tuesday's EuroMillions Plus draw were: 3, 6, 9, 36 and 44.
