A man has been arrested and a "number of controlled substances" and cash seized following a garda operation in east Clare.
Gardaí attached to Killaloe Garda Station, supported by Divisional Drug unit, Task Force members and the Garda Dog unit executed a search warrant on Friday, May 10, in the East Clare area.

"As a result of the search a number of suspected controlled substances and cash were seized," a spokesperson for An Garda Síochana shared on social media.
A male was arrested, and charged to appear in court.
The search was part of Operation Tara, the focus of which is to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks, at all levels - international, national, local - involved in the importation, distribution, cultivation, production, local sale and supply of controlled drugs.
