National Daily Covid-19 figures released

Numbers of hospital and ICU patients with Covid-19 continue to fall

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 1,407 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Tuesday 19 April, 1,941 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.  

As of 8am today, 706 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 42 are in ICU.
