Clare motorists warned of road closures to facilitate wind farm works

MOTORISTS are being advised that a number of local roads in west Clare are to be temporarily for two weeks closed to facilitate ground investigation works for the gridline route to Crossmore Windfarm.

The Energia-led development, which received planning permission in 2021, will include seven wind turbines when completed and fully-operational.

In a public notice, Clare County Council says the investigation works, on the L2084, L2048 and L6338 roads. will take place between 8am and 6pm each day from November 6 to November 17.

There will be rolling road closures during the works but local access will be maintained.

Any observations or representations may be made by email or in writing before 4pm on October 20.
