GARDAÍ are seeking witnesses to a serious assault that took place in Ennis this week.
A taxi driver was seriously assaulted by a male assailant in a car park in the town in the early hours of Monday morning.
The incident took place in Abbey Street car park, at approximately 12.15am.
Investigations are ongoing and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Ennis Garda Station.
