Ennistymon Gardaí appeal for information after stop sign is stolen from local road

Ennistymon Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident of theft in the town. 

Throughout the course of this offence, a stop sign and its pole, which is used to control traffic on two minor local roads, was stolen from Ballingaddy West.

According to Gardaí, this sign had been tampered with in the past also. 

The theft occurred last Friday night, November 21, into Saturday morning. 

If anyone observed any persons interfering with this sign or if you have information in relation to this crime, please contact Ennistymon Garda Station on 065 7072180.
