Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have been travelling in the Milford area
Clare Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an early-morning burglary in Miltown Malbay.
Gardaí in the town are investigating the incident, which occurred in the Milford area of Milltown Malbay between 4am and 9am on Thursday morning, June 5.
The burglary took place whilst the homeowner was at work. It was only when the owner returned home that they discovered a criminal had used force to get in via the back door.

As this is a distressing experience for any homeowner, Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have been travelling in the Milford area.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána in the Clare town said, "Did you see anyone or any vehicle that you felt was suspicious? If you have any information in relation to this crime, please call Milltown Malbay Garda Station on 065 7084222."
