A man who was arrested following a shooting incident over the weekend has been charged by investigating gardai.
In an update, a spokesperson confirmed the suspect, aged in his 20s, is scheduled to appear before Limerick District Court later this Monday.
Over the weekend, they confirmed that gardaí responded to reports of gunshots outside a residential property on Lahinch Road, Ennis at around 10pm on Friday.

"Damage was caused to the property, but no one was injured," said the spokesperson.
A man in his 40s was arrested a short time later and he was detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939. He was later released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
"During follow-up inquiries, a second male aged in his 20s was subsequently arrested and detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, at a garda station in County Clare. He has since been charged," read an update, issued this Monday morning.
