'Significant criminal damage' caused to public bench in Clare viewing spot
Gardaí in Shannon are investigating the incident
Gardaí are appealing to the public for their assistance regarding "significant criminal damage" caused to a public bench at a viewing point in Shannon at the weekend.
The bench is located in an area is known as the Second Point in Shannon on a green area that faces out onto the Shannon Estuary,behind the handball court in Shannon, close to St Senans School.
This incident occurred on Saturday evening, September 28, just after 5pm.
Shannon Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have been near the viewing point last Saturday evening and observed a person or persons acting suspiciously, to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.
