Sixmilebridge playground 'set on fire' in arson attack

Gardaí in east Clare are investigating an arson attack on a playground in Sixmilebridge last Friday night. 

They are investigating criminal damage to the swings in the local playground on the Shannon Road.

The swings were set on fire on Friday night, July 12, just before midnight.

Gardaí in Sixmilebridge are asking for the public’s assistance in this matter.

They are appealing to anyone that may have observed people in the playground on Friday night or in the area of the playground.

If anyone has any information or may have witnessed this crime to please contact Sixmilebridge Garda Station on 061 369133.
