As part of an operation targeting organised criminal activity between July and September 2020 in the Southern and Eastern regions, Gardaí carried out a search at a premises in Limerick this morning Tuesday July 16, 2024.
The search was conducted at a property in Limerick by Gardaí attached to the Clare Tipperary Crime Functional Area and assisted by the Armed Support unit at Henry Street Garda station in relation to suspected involvement in burglary, theft and robbery offences.

During the course of the search a number of electronic devices were seized, according to a statement issued by An Garda Síochána press office.
Two men were arrested and both are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at Garda stations in the Southern region.
Investigations are ongoing, the statement from gardaí concluded.
