AFTER a frosty start, Thursday will be a cool and dry day with long spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in light to moderate northerly breezes.
Thursday night will be cold with clear spells, but with patches of mist and fog developing with lowest temperatures, in places, of 2 to -2 degrees and light, variable breezes.
On Friday morning, frost, fog and ice will gradually clear and sunny spells will develop.
Cloudier conditions will gradually extend eastwards through the afternoon and outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will develop in the evening. Highest afternoon temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with light southwesterly or variable breezes.
On Friday night, light rain and drizzle will spread southeastwards across the country. Amounts will be small. Rain and drizzle will clear overnight with clear spells following.
It will be cold with lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees and light northwest winds.
