French luxury travel buyers explore county Clare

Action-packed itinerary included a tour of the Cliffs of Moher, music at Doolin Music House and a falconry experience at Dromoland Castle
Five luxury travel buyers from France got to explore county Clare and Ireland this week, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. Their programme was designed in partnership with Abbey Group (Moloney & Kelly).
The aim of the visit is to familiarise the travel buyers with Ireland's superb luxury tourism offering, so that when they return home, they will be better informed and more enthusiastic than ever about Ireland when advising their clients about planning and booking their next luxury holiday.
During their time here, the luxury buyers carried out site inspections at some of the top luxury hotels, including Gregans Castle Hotel and Dromoland Castle.
As well as the luxury hotels, their action-packed itinerary also included a tour of the Cliffs of Moher, a private music session at Doolin Music House and a falconry experience at Dromoland Castle.
Ana Luis, Tourism Ireland’s Trade Partnership Manager France, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite this group of specialist luxury travel buyers to visit Ireland, to experience at first-hand some of our luxury tourism offering, including our boutique hotels and high-end resorts.
"Seeing is believing – and our aim is that when they return home, they will be even more enthusiastic about the destination, helping to secure a greater share of their business for Ireland in 2025 and beyond.”
