Gardaí are investigating after the front window of a home in Ennis was smashed in.

The incident of criminal damage took place at a residential property in Moinear, Ros Leamhan, Tulla Road on Thursday night November 14, "at exactly 10.30pm" according to gardaí in Ennis.

The front window of the home was smashed and a male wearing dark clothing and his face covered was seen running from the house into the passenger side of a parked vehicle and he then fled the scene.

This vehicle is described as a Toyota Avensis, dark brown/ gold in colour.

Gardaí are appealing anyone that may have witnessed this incident or may have observed a dark brown/ gold Toyota Avensis in the Moinear estate to please contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100.
