Budget friendly ways to entertain your family this Easter break

As Easter is quickly approaching, you may be finding it challenging to think of ideas to entertain your family and find something everyone will enjoy. 

Here are three budget and family friendly ideas to enjoy over the break, which you can be sure will keep everyone entertained. 

Baking: 

From fun Easter cupcakes to a Biscoff cheesecake, all the family can get involved with this. 

Have fun icing and decorating cupcakes or crushing the biscuit base for the cheesecake. 

Here is how mine turned out. I am not a pro baker, it is just something I enjoy. Your family doesn't  have to be either

If you don't feel like doing too much baking and just want a quick fun activity for all the family to enjoy, you can't go wrong with Betty Crocker, here is a red velvet cake I made recently by doing just that. 

Movie Marathon: 

Can you think of a better way to spend a Sunday, or any day for that matter than being curled up in a blanket on the couch watching movies? Me neither.... 

Why not pick one movie each and watch them back to back all day. This is an exciting activity all the family can get involved in and something for everyone to enjoy.

Easter Egg Hunt: 

It doesn't matter how old your kids are you can tailor this experience to suit their age. If you have older kids, why not make it a thrilling hunt with different prizes other than chocolate. 

This can be an interactive activity for all the family to enjoy and even after the hunt is over too.
