It has been confirmed that the Late Late Show will return to television screens this September.

Patrick Kielty, who takes over from former host Ryan Tubridy, will make his Late Late debut on Friday, September 15 at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.

Ahead of the opening show, Kielty told RTÉ: "I'm also genuinely humbled to become part of Friday nights for so many Irish people, at home and around the world. I can't wait to get started on one of the greatest jobs in television."
