Popular Irish festival Forbidden Fruit is inviting bands and singers to join their line-up for summer 2024.

The popular event - which has previously boasted headliners such as Glass Animals and Rina Sawayama - is seeking applications from interested musicians.

In a post published on X, a festival spokesperson stated, "Do you want to perform at #ff24? Forbidden Fruit has seen the festival debuts of some of Ireland’s greatest up and coming musical talent. Join us for one of the first festivals to return for summer this June Bank Holiday Weekend."

Anyone interested in applying can do so by submitting their name, county or country of origin, genre, examples of work, a short biography and social media details on the Forbidden Fruit website.

The 2024 line-up so far includes Nelly Furtado, Groove Armada, Barry Can't Swim and Bicep, as well as many other singers, bands and DJ sets.

This year's festival takes place on the June Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday June 1 to Sunday June 2 at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
