Love/Hate star opts for softer character in new Netflix film

Irish actor plays a footballer in the movie out this March
Love/Hate actor reportedly looks 'unrecognisable' in new Netflix film that he is set to star in.
Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, more widely known as Nidge, has snatched up a role alongside a star-studded cast in the new movie The Beautiful Game.
The 46-year-old actor won Irish audiences over with his bad-guy drug kingpin role in the hard-hitting crime series Love/Hate, which hit TV screens in 2010.
Opting for a softer character this time around, Tom is playing a footballer in the Netflix film, set to be released in March 2024.
The Beautiful Game follows a true story of a homeless football team. British actor, Bill Nighy will star alongside Tom as the team's manager in the film.
The real life Homeless World Cup Foundation was established in 2001.
