Would-be burglar seen fleeing from scene in major Clare town
Gardaí in Shannon are investigating
Shannon Gardaí are investigating a burglary that took place in the Cluainin estate in Shannon just after 3am on Friday morning.
A witness described the perpetrator as male and he was observed running from the scene.

Gardai found that the perpetrator was interfering with the lock mechanism on the front door to try and gain access to the property.
Shannon Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed this male in the Cluainin estate, to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.
