All breadcrumbs lead toglórtheatre in Ennis next week when theDinanSchoolof Ballet stage theirannualproduction.
The international award-winningschoolof dance will bring their entertaining and family-friendly interpretation of the classic fairytale,HanselandGretal, to life inglóron Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22. Now in its 38th year, The Dinan Schoolof Ballet is led by Clarecastle's NiamhDinan.
Students from all over Clare and surrounding areas will bring the story ofHanselandGretalto the stage, in which two children are lost in a forest before running into a foul witch who intends to eat them. But not to worry, rescue is at hand!
Speaking in advance of next week's production, Niamh said, "All the students are so excited for theshow. It’s definitely the highlight of ourschoolyear.
"The students have been rehearsing for months and always put their heart and soul into theannualshow.
"This year we have decided to go with the classic tale ofHanselandGretal, who will be performed by Caoimhe Mockler and Lily May Kilker (Wednesday) and Lucy Culligan and Mila Rose Flannery (Thursday), who must face the witch, brilliantly played by Tara Casey.
"Everyone has been working really hard and it's great to be back inglóragain next week to bring the story to the stage and showcase the fantastic dancing of our students.
"Our production promises a wonderful night’s entertainment for all the family," she concluded.
