WEATHER: Thursday's Met Éireann forecast following aftermath of Storm Jocelyn and Isha

Many homes in Ireland are still left without power after the storms earlier in the week
According to Met Éireann, today's (Thursday, January 25) forecast will be 'relatively mild, damp and breezy'.
Nationally, there will be outbreaks of rain and drizzle, along with some low clouds and mist about too.
The forecast predicts it will brighten up during the day at times and the highest temperatures will be 11 to 14 degrees in a moderate to fresh and gusty south to southwest wind.
Tonight could see possible thundery downpours, with potential for spot flooding. It will turn cold once the rain clears with scattered showers following from the west, some of them wintry with a mix of rain, hail and sleet.
The lowest temperatures will be 0 to 4 degrees with fresh to strong westerly winds, reaching gale at times near coasts.
