Sunshine with a possibility of hail - unsettled weather expected this Easter weekend

A mixed bag of weather has been forecast this Easter Saturday, with much of the country experiencing spots of sunshine with some scattered showers throughout the day.

Additionally, this Saturday morning saw the sun rise just after 6am. With the clocks springing forward tonight, we won't see another sunrise this early until April 26, it has been reported.

The clocks are due to go forward an hour at 1am this Easter Sunday, March 31, which will make the time 2am.

Sunny spells and showers are due to make an appearance once again this Easter Sunday, some turning heavy. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.

Rain is expected in the coming week, mostly in the south, with low pressure from the Atlantic pushing up over the country.
