Facebook rejects Irish weather report posted by well-known weather forecaster

The social media platform failed to allow the Irish weather forecaster to post an update on their own page
Facebook has bizarrely rejected one Irish weather forecaster to post a weather update on their own profile, despite being a regular user.
Carlow Weather is a well-known Irish weather forecaster and often posts reports and updates across a multitude of social media profiles. However, Facebook recently rejected to publish a post they tried making for no explicable reason.
"I think Facebook has even had enough of the bad weather posts," Carlow Weather joked on X (formerly Twitter), with their 111.5k followers.
The page itself is run by Alan O'Reilly and it offers up-to-date forecasts for Ireland.
X users reacted by saying, "Uh oh! What did you do!" and "That's gas!", while others reported having similar issues with Facebook: "You're not the first person to have their weather post flagged - their algorithms are dangerous at the best of times, but this is nonsense", while another wrote, "sounds like a glitch".
This weekend, April 13 and 14, is expected to be a mixed bag of weather with both sunny spells and scattered showers forecast.
"Blanked of cloud over the country this afternoon (Friday, April 12) and showers also for some. Tomorrow will see good sunny spells developing but also scattered showers and very breezy."
