Largely dry Thursday with plenty of sunshine and just the odd shower.
On the cool side of normal for October with highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate northwest to north winds.
Largely dry, clear and cold Thursday night, however, it will be a little less cold and cloudier near the west coast with isolated showers there.
Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees, with a slight frost in sheltered spots. Winds will be mainly light westerly or variable, with a few mist or fog patches forming also
Cold to begin on Friday, with any frost and mist clearing in the morning.
The rest of the day will be mainly dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, although a few showers are possible in the west of the province.
Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light to moderate southwest or variable breezes.
