TODAY: Today will be a rather wet and windy day with widespread falls of rain, heavy and persistent at times. Low cloud and mist in parts too. Highest temperatures of 17 or 18 degrees in fresh to strong southerly winds.

TONIGHT: Wet and rather windy overnight too with some further blustery spells of rain. Mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees Celsius.

TOMORROW, FRIDAY: Currently some scattered thundery showers will move up in the flow, some intense falls across the west and southwest likely with spot flooding. Warm and humid, especially in sunshine with highest temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, in mostly fresh southeast winds.

OUTLOOK: Becoming warmer but unsettled.
