Clare weather: Saturday, February 24, 2024

Any frost and icy patches will clear on Saturday morning and it will be a largely dry day with sunny spells. Cloud will increase in the afternoon and rain will develop across the southwest in the evening.

Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees can be expected with light to moderate northwest breezes.

Saturday night will start off dry but rain will gradually spread over many parts of Clare with some of it heavy in places.  Lowest temperatures of -1 to +5 degrees.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy at first, with some rain in places. However, the rain will clear later in the morning or early afternoon, with drier weather elsewhere extending southwards.

Some bright spells will develop, but some showers will follow too, a few possibly heavy with the chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Sunday night will be cold with clear spells and scattered showers, with the chance of hail and a little bit of sleet over higher ground. Lowest temperatures of 0 to +3 degrees in mostly moderate northerly winds.
