A chilly, dry start on Friday with sunny spells developing. Cloud will then build from the west during the afternoon and evening with some patchy rain in western parts in the evening.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with southwest winds increasing moderate to fresh in the afternoon.

Cloudy on Friday night with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate southwest wind.

Cloudy and breezy on Saturday with rain moving southeastwards across the country. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds.

Changeable weather at first with rain at times over the weekend. High pressure looks set to build in over Ireland through next week bringing plenty of dry and fine weather.
