Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning for 22 counties, including County Clare.
The warning applies to all of Munster, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Galway, Roscommon, and is in effect from 11am today (Monday, January 5) until 9am on Tuesday, January.

Temperatures are forecasted to fall between -1 and -3 degrees Celsius.
Met Eireann have warned of sharp frost and icy stretches, with motorists advised to be extra cautious of potential patches of black ice on roads.
The potential impact of the low temperature and ice warning is "treacherous travel conditions".
A status yellow snow-ice warning has also been issued for counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 11 am on Monday, January 5 until 9 am on Tuesday January 6.
